Inspired by our family heritage and a deep connection to Umbria and Tuscany, the Grand Tour Italia offers a multi-day cycling adventure through Italy’s finest landscapes.

This is a journey shaped by history, tradition, and timeless beauty—tracing a route from Orvieto to Florence through rolling vineyards, hilltop towns, and quiet country roads known only to those who call this region home.

Over five days, you’ll ride through iconic locations such as Assisi, Siena, and San Gimignano, while discovering lesser-known treasures like Bevagna, Città della Pieve, and Todi. Each town reveals a piece of Italy’s rich past—Renaissance art, medieval architecture, and centuries of cultural legacy.

With moderate distances and well-paced routes, the Grand Tour Italia is designed for regular cyclists who want more than a ride: it’s an immersion in regional identity, local gastronomy, and the rhythms of daily life in central Italy. Scenic climbs lead to sweeping views, and quiet backroads bring you to long lunches, local wines, and evenings filled with conversation and hospitality.

Throughout the tour, Team Volta ensures every detail is seamless—from ride support and mechanical care to luggage transfers, energy stops, and check-in service. You’ll stay in elegant hotels full of character and charm, each one chosen for its location, comfort, and connection to the region.

Grand Tour Italia: Umbria & Tuscany is cycling as it should be: immersive, refined, and unforgettable.

“Volta Pro Tours offers a premium service with excellent support for serious riders. Their rides are excellent value and the Support Crew are outstanding.
