What Is the N2 Road?
The N2 (Estrada Nacional 2) is Portugal’s longest continuous road, stretching from Chaves in the north to Faro in the south. Crossing four mountain ranges, eleven rivers, and dozens of historic towns, it’s a route steeped in heritage. Known as Portugal’s answer to Route 66, the N2 offers riders a unique and uninterrupted traverse through the heart of the country.
