N2 Tour Routine

QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

A typical day on the N2 Tour

08:00 – 10:00 Buffet Breakfast

Each selected hotel provides a varied and complete breakfast menu to enjoy whilst discussing with your friends the day’s itinerary. We will have supplied you an itinerary card which conveniently fits into your back pocket.

The card provides information and locations of where to enjoy a coffee and snack, fill up with water and what to order for lunch from the recommended restaurant/grill.

08:00 – 11:00 Departure

Your gpx maps will have been sent to you several weeks prior to your arrival. Once you have loaded up the map for that stage, you are free to depart anytime you like – just don’t forget to leave your luggage in the Transfer Wagon before you go.

Whilst you are enjoying the ride with your friends, the Support Crew will transfer your luggage and bike box to the next hotel.

You are free to ride the stage at any pace you prefer. However, you must make sure you are at the next hotel in time to attend the stage briefing just before dinner.

On the Road

If you run into difficulty during the day or have a major mechanical, the Support Crew will recover you to the next hotel.

We carry a comprehensive set of tools and emergency spares which should fix most problems. However, you should bring spare tubes, spare tyre, chain and mech hanger just in case.

15:00 – 18:30 Hotel Arrival

Your gpx maps will guide you directly to the front door of the next hotel.

You will have already been checked in and your room key will be ready for collection.

19:30 Stage Briefing

We hold a thorough stage briefing every evening and answer any questions you may have.

We’ll hand out the next day’s itinerary card which provide you with a list of preferred stops, cafes, restaurants and their kilometre marker on the route.

20:00 Dinner

Each evening varied regional dishes are prepared for you to savour. Each course is created using locally sourced produce and of course, wine from the region.
